Hello Gatewayians! Cat Grant here with this weeks CatBites. All the news worth knowing in watercooler sized Bites.
1. You ready for the holiday season cause I sure am! Thanksgiving has come and gone and I am so ready for Christmas. Heading back to the old home town for tensile and real Superheroes.
2. Looking to get your bestie some really great gifts this year? Maybe try a copy of Frenemies To Frenemies: My time at the Daily Planet by yours truly. If they don't read then Cat Grant cosmetics has a full line of gift ideas including a men line.
3. Most importantly I am running a charity event "A New Year Eves Date w/ Cat Grant." Just donate to one of our approved charities for the season on our website and enter a chance to win a Date with me in Metropolis. You me and the giant "L" counting down to midnight...maybe with a kiss.
Next morning, we fight with Dr. Tripod again about the sale.
Quantum gets funds from the State Dept. to buy back. Patty Kinkle, when
confronted, escaped with the Staff of Hermes to the Caribbean. We took the
bell, book, and jar back to the Embassy and secured them in the vault with a
new code.
There, we’re attacked by someone breaking through the wall—Baron Blitzkrieg, Red Panzer, Gundra. We capture Red Panzer, but the other two escape. We speculate they were working for Immortus given the Nazi connections.
We track Patty Kinkle to an island, and Orichalcum goes in to talk to her. She gives Patty a phone to call in case of trouble. We pay her $1.5million from the State Dept. for the staff and get it back. We return to the Embassy. There was a box from the government for the staff, which seemed to have shielding and teleportation. It is lined with Suspendium. We disagree over using the Staff to go back in time to get the Spear of Destiny.
Red Panzer was released to the authorities so we didn’t have the chance to question him. Helena says Cassie is in Metropolis.
We get costumes for 1946 from the Gateway City CC’s production of Guys and Dolls and have them altered to fit us. While it’s being altered we see that civilians have purchased various items from the Embassy. We gather them up. Donna calls back. She reassigned Dr. Tripod elsewhere. She indicated that we should be able to contact Queen Hippolyta in 1946 during her time as Wonder Woman. Where would Grandfather be at that time?
Donna wants to meet me tomorrow for dinner.
